Tourism CS Rebecca Miano Invites New UNWTO Secretary-General to Kenya

 Tourism Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano, EGH, extended an official invitation to the new Secretary-General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), H.E. Shaikha Al Nowais, to visit Kenya during a strategic bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the ongoing World Governments Summit in Dubai.

The meeting explored areas of mutual cooperation aimed at strengthening Kenya’s position as a global leader in sustainable tourism development. CS Miano emphasized opportunities to upscale the tourism sector’s future workforce, attract strategic investments, and enhance collaboration with UN-led agencies and international organizations.

“Congratulations to H.E. Shaikha Al Nowais on her new role. Kenya looks forward to deepening our partnership to drive sustainable growth in tourism,” CS Miano stated.

She concluded by welcoming the world to experience Kenya: “Karibu Kenya, the Origin of Wonder!”
