Marjan Hussein Resigns as IEBC CEO

Marjan Hussein has resigned as the Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) after reaching an agreement to terminate her service by mutual consent.

The decision was announced on Monday by IEBC Chairman Erastus Ethekon, who said the commission and Hussein had agreed to part ways amicably.

In a brief statement, Ethekon confirmed that the separation followed consultations between the two parties, adding that the process had been concluded in line with the commission’s procedures.
