Principal Secretary for Education, Prof. Julius Bitok, has extended his heartfelt best wishes to all candidates sitting for the 2025 National Examinations, urging them to approach the tests with confidence, integrity, and determination.

In an official message released ahead of the commencement of this year’s examinations – which include KPSEA, KILEA, KJSEA, KPLEA, and KCSE – Prof. Bitok recognized the moment as a significant milestone in the academic journey of learners across the country.

“This important moment crowns years of dedication, discipline and resilience,” he stated. “It reflects your determination and the invaluable support of teachers, parents and communities who have walked with you in this journey.”

The PS emphasized the central role of education in national development and personal growth, describing it as a "cornerstone of national development and a pathway to personal empowerment." He encouraged candidates to view the examinations as a decisive step toward shaping their future and contributing meaningfully to Kenya’s long-term development goals.

Prof. Bitok further reassured learners and stakeholders of the government’s commitment to maintaining the credibility, fairness and inclusivity of the examination process.

“The Government of Kenya continues to safeguard the integrity, credibility and inclusivity of the examination process, ensuring that every learner has an equal opportunity to succeed,” he said.

Urging candidates to remain focused, honest and hardworking, he concluded with words of encouragement and a prayer for success:
“Let your focus, honesty and hard work guide you to excellence. May your effort yield outstanding results and open new doors of opportunity and service to our country. I wish you great success and God’s grace throughout this important season of your life.”
