Marakwet West MP Toroitich Sends Best Wishes to National Examination Candidates

Marakwet West Member of Parliament, Timothy Kipchumba Toroitich, has sent a message of encouragement and goodwill to all candidates sitting for this year’s national examinations — the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA), the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), and the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).

In his message, Hon. Toroitich emphasized the power of education as a tool for transformation, echoing the famous words of Nelson Mandela:

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

The legislator congratulated candidates for their hard work and perseverance throughout the year and urged them to remain calm and confident as they begin their examinations.

“To all our young learners in Matakwet West and across the nation, this is your time to shine. You have been prepared well by your teachers and supported by your parents. Believe in yourself, do your best, and trust in God,” he said.

Toroitich also took the opportunity to thank teachers and parents for their continued dedication to nurturing academic excellence, noting that their efforts have been instrumental in shaping the future of the learners.

He reaffirmed his commitment to improving the education sector within Matakwet West, citing ongoing efforts to enhance school infrastructure, provide learning materials, and support needy students through bursaries and scholarships.

“Education remains the foundation of progress and equality. As leaders, we must continue investing in it to empower our young people to become agents of positive change in our society,” he added.

Hon. Toroitich encouraged all candidates to place their trust in God and to approach the examinations with determination and integrity.

“As you sit for your exams, remember that your effort, discipline, and faith will guide you. To God be the glory,” he said.
