Man regains eyesight after washing his face with herbal solution shared by stranger in Nairobi bus

Residents of Nairobi have been left astonished after a man reportedly regained his eyesight moments after washing his face with a herbal mixture handed to him by a stranger inside a city bus. The incident, which occurred along the busy Ngong Road route, has since become one of the most talked-about stories across the city’s commuter circles.

The man, 46-year-old Samuel Mwenda, said he had battled partial blindness for nearly three years following an eye infection that resisted medical treatment. According to Mwenda, he boarded a matatu heading to town when a passenger sitting next to him struck up a conversation about natural remedies and traditional healing.

“She told me she could sense my pain and offered me a small bottle of herbal liquid,” Mwenda recalled. “At first, I hesitated, but she insisted it was purely natural.
