Kenyan Delegation Departs for India to Repatriate Raila Odinga's Remains

 

A high-level Kenyan delegation led by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen departed for India this evening to oversee the repatriation of the remains of former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga.

The late Odinga, a veteran opposition leader and key figure in Kenya’s democratic history, passed away while undergoing treatment in New Delhi. His death has sent shockwaves across the country, prompting tributes from leaders and citizens alike.

The government stated that all arrangements are being made to ensure a dignified return and state honours for the late statesman.
