DCP Candidate Bows Out of Malava Race, Throws Support Behind Panyako

 

 In a move that has strengthened opposition unity in Malava, Democratic Choice Party (DCP) candidate Edgar Busiega has officially withdrawn from the race for Malava MP and announced his support for Seth Panyako.

Busiega acknowledged Panyako as the true leader and the preferred choice of the people, signaling a significant consolidation of opposition forces ahead of the elections.

DCP Secretary General Cleophas Malala confirmed the decision, stating that the party stands firmly behind Panyako and is committed to presenting a united front. “This is about putting the people of Malava first,” Malala said. “Our unity strengthens the call for accountable and responsive leadership.”
