The committee which had invited Governor George Natembeya to furnish it with information pertaining to the program noted that Trans Nzoia had accomplished much and had set benchmarking standards.
Committee Chair Senator Mohamed Faki (Mombasa) and honorable members were impressed at how the Governor, accompanied by Water, Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change (WENRCC) County Executive Robert Wamalwa, Chief Officer Dorothy Nyukuri and the Climate Change Unit displayed great organization.
The committee, with the Chair's indulgence, first watched a compelling 20-minute documentary on FLLoCA successes, lessons and best practices from Trans Nzoia which entailed vox pops from beneficiaries in the grassroots.
"Govenor (Natembeya), we are impressed at the way your team is organized. We also happy that we invited you here at 10:30am and by 9:00am you were here which shows commitment," said Senator Faki.
The committee members expressed interest in visiting the county and forging a common front in information and idea sharing with other counties to ensure citizens get the best services.
Other committee members included Catherine Nyamu (Vice Chair), Mwashushe Mwaruma, Abdul Haji, James Murango, Beatrice Ogola, Joe Nyutu and Miriam Sheikh.
Governor Natembeya was also accompanied by the County Secretay Truphosa Amere, Finance Executive Dr. Pepela Wanjala and Climate Change Unit (CCU) members who support in the FLLoCA program coordination.
