Rigathi Gachagua Thanks Mulembe Nation for Support, Vows to Champion People-Centered Change
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of the Mulembe Nation following what he described as a deeply encouraging and transformative tour across Western Kenya.
Speaking at the close of a high-energy “Meet the People” tour in Kitale, Gachagua thanked residents for their resilience, warm reception, and vocal support for his political message and mission.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank the people of Mulembe Nation for your resilience and love. We have heard you loud and clear, and I want to assure you that we will not bow down or let you down,” said Gachagua.
The tour, which spanned several counties in Western Kenya, culminated in Kitale Town, where residents turned out in large numbers, resulting in what observers described as a “complete shutdown” of the town to welcome the former Deputy President.
“Kitale town responded passionately, culminating in a complete shutdown as we wrapped up our Western 'Meet the People' tour. Asanteni sana Kitale and Mulembe Nation for your warm reception and unwavering support!” he added.
Gachagua reaffirmed his commitment to bringing about positive, people-centered change, promising that the voices of the region would not be ignored in the national conversation.
“Our commitment to bringing about positive change remains unwavering,” he said, emphasizing the need for inclusive governance, economic empowerment, and respect for the will of the people.
Political analysts say Gachagua’s visit to the Western region signals a renewed push to consolidate grassroots support ahead of the next election cycle. His message has resonated with many who feel sidelined and are looking for alternative leadership that prioritizes their everyday challenges.
