Kuria Kimani Champions Quality Education in Molo
Residents of Molo Constituency have welcomed renewed efforts to improve education infrastructure following the inauguration of newly renovated classrooms at St. James Comprehensive School in Elburgon Ward.
The area Member of Parliament, Hon. FCPA Kuria Kimani, presided over the commissioning ceremony, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening education standards across the constituency. The renovations were funded through the Molo National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) and are aimed at providing learners with a modern, safe, and conducive learning environment.
Speaking during the event, Kimani emphasized that the investment goes beyond physical structures. “This is not just about buildings,” he said. “It’s about our children’s hopes, their dreams, and giving them the foundation to succeed in life.”
The upgraded classrooms feature improved roofing, flooring, lighting, and adequate space to enhance comfort and concentration among learners. Teachers and parents expressed gratitude, noting that the improved facilities are expected to boost morale and academic performance.
Education has remained a key pillar of Kimani’s development agenda, with a focus on upgrading infrastructure, increasing access to bursaries, and supporting institutions across Molo. Local leaders present at the event lauded the NG-CDF initiative, describing it as a transformative intervention for public schools within the constituency.
As Molo continues to invest in its young generation, stakeholders say such projects signal a future anchored on opportunity, equity, and sustainable growth driven by quality education.
