Willstone Homes Issues Statement on Recent Media Reports

Willstone Homes Limited has noted the publication of articles in the Daily Nation on 4 February 2026 titled “Developers make millions from cheated home buyers” and “Off-plan scams: From dream homes to dust.” The Company wishes to clarify matters raised in the articles and reaffirm its commitment to transparency, accountability, and home delivery.

Willstone Homes is an affordable housing developer that has been in operation since 2018. To date, the Company has successfully developed, completed, and handed over nineteen (19) housing projects across Kamulu, Joska (Kangundo Road), and Kenyatta Road (off Thika Super Highway). All completed projects are fully occupied, underscoring the Company’s delivery track record within the off-plan development model.

The most recent handover, Windsor Ridge 3, marked the Company’s nineteenth completed project and reflects continuous improvement informed by homeowner feedback and strengthened quality standards.

Looking ahead, 2026 is projected to be a significant year for Willstone Homes, with plans underway to deliver over 256 housing units across both existing and new developments. These plans are guided by structured engagement with investors and homeowners through regular site clinics and direct communication channels.

Clarification on Issues Raised

Regarding White Park 1, the Company confirms that five (5) housing units are currently subject to court proceedings. Willstone Homes respects the judicial process and will comply fully with the court’s determination. The remaining twenty (20) units were completed and handed over on 22 April 2023 and have been occupied since that time. The project was delivered with ready title deeds, a fact verifiable by homeowners.

With respect to Ubuni Investments Limited, the Company clarifies that it was incorporated in 2023 as a proposed land-selling entity under the Willstone Homes umbrella. Following consultations with industry stakeholders, this function was integrated into Willstone Homes’ core operations, resulting in the successful development of prime properties in Juja and Mangu’s Seattlle.

The Company also notes references made to the personal lifestyle of its Managing Director, Mr. Ejidio Kinyanjui. Willstone Homes emphasizes that Mr. Kinyanjui has overseen the planning, development, and delivery of all completed projects. His international engagements are part of routine business operations aimed at serving a diverse local and global clientele.

Commitment to Stakeholders

Willstone Homes acknowledges that such media reports may raise concern among investors and aspiring homeowners. The Company reiterates that it operates independently, remains financially and operationally active, and continues to prioritize transparency, direct engagement, and responsible project delivery.

Willstone Homes remains committed to its core mandate: the development and delivery of quality housing units in line with agreed timelines and contractual obligations.
