Murkomen Congratulates KCSE Class of 2025, Urges Graduates to Embrace Discipline and Opportunity
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has congratulated the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Class of 2025, urging candidates to view the release of their results as the beginning of a new chapter rather than the end of their academic journey.
In a congratulatory message issued following the completion of the examinations, Murkomen commended the 993,226 candidates who sat for the KCSE, describing the period ahead as a critical time for reflection, planning, and preparation for the next phase of life.
“The difference between those who achieved their desired outcomes and those who fell short of their expectations will be determined by discipline, focus, and attitude going forward,” Murkomen said.
He encouraged candidates who may be disappointed by their results not to lose hope, noting that what may be perceived as failure today can be transformed into future success with the right mindset and determination.
The Interior CS highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring inclusive opportunities for all learners, pointing to the availability of diverse pathways such as Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions. He said these institutions play a key role in equipping young people with practical skills that lead to meaningful and sustainable careers.
“The Government of Kenya has provided diverse opportunities for every learner. These avenues are designed to ensure that no student is left behind, regardless of their examination outcomes,” he noted.
Murkomen concluded by reminding the candidates that KCSE results do not define their ultimate potential, but rather serve as a stepping stone toward future growth and achievement.
“This is not the end of the journey; this is just the beginning,” he said, congratulating the Class of 2025 and wishing them success in their next endeavors.
