Huruma Ward MCA Aspirant Maina Wachira Casts Vote, Calls for Peaceful Democratic Process









Huruma Ward MCA aspirant Maina Wachira on the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket on Tuesday successfully cast his vote at U.G. Primary School polling station in Huruma Ward, Turbo Constituency, Uasin Gishu County.

Speaking shortly after voting, Wachira expressed confidence in the democratic process and reaffirmed his belief in grassroots leadership, urging residents to participate peacefully and responsibly in the exercise.

“Chama iko Imara. UDA kazi ni kazi,” said Wachira, noting that the voting process was orderly and well-coordinated. He emphasized the importance of unity among residents regardless of political affiliation, stating that Huruma Ward belongs to all its people.

Wachira encouraged voters to remain calm as the process continues and to respect the outcome of the elections. He reiterated his commitment to servant leadership anchored on development, inclusivity, and accountability.

“As leaders, we must always put the people first. Huruma ni yetu wote. Mungu mbele,” he added.

The aspirant wished fellow candidates well and called on electoral officials to uphold transparency and fairness throughout the tallying process, expressing hope that the will of the people would prevail.
