Uhuru Kenyatta and Kalonzo Musyoka Attend Lavish Wedding of Gideon Moi’s Son at Ol Tukai Lodge

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka were among high-profile guests who graced the wedding of James Kimoi, son of KANU chairman and former Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, at the picturesque Ol Tukai Lodge in Amboseli.

The private but glamorous ceremony, held against the scenic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro and Amboseli National Park, brought together close family, political allies, and dignitaries from across the country.

James Kimoi tied the knot in a colorful ceremony that blended traditional and modern elements, with elders from the Moi and bride’s families performing customary blessings before the official vows were exchanged.

Former President Kenyatta, a close ally of the Moi family, was seen warmly interacting with guests, with Kalonzo Musyoka also drawing attention as the two joined other leaders in celebrating the young couple’s union.

Gideon Moi, a scion of Kenya’s political dynasty, expressed joy and gratitude during his speech, thanking all attendees for their presence and support. “Today is a proud moment for our family. We are happy to witness James begin a new chapter in life surrounded by love and unity,” he said.

The event was marked by tight security and an elegant setup featuring live music, traditional dancers, and a reception dinner under the stars.

Political watchers noted the gathering as yet another show of enduring ties among key figures from Kenya’s former ruling elite, though the mood remained strictly celebratory.
