“Mulembe Unity Talks Gain Momentum as Western Leaders Push for Cohesion and Inclusive Politics”
Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has emphasized the importance of unity and continued dialogue among leaders from the Mulembe Nation, saying ongoing consultations are key to strengthening national cohesion, inclusive leadership, and shared prosperity.
Speaking in a statement reflecting on recent engagements, Natembeya said the Mulembe Nation, under the collective leadership of various political figures including Senate Minority Leader Edwin Sifuna, Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi, Mumias East MP Peter Wamboka, Ikolomani MP Benard Kalasinga, and Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale, continues to engage in meaningful dialogue aimed at strengthening unity and consolidating leadership within Western Kenya and the country at large.
Natembeya noted that the discussions among leaders from the region are centered on building bridges across political and community lines, with a focus on fostering peace, stability, and development. He said sustained cooperation among leaders remains critical in addressing challenges facing the region and ensuring equitable participation in national decision-making.
He further emphasized that unity within the Mulembe Nation is not only a regional priority but also a national necessity, arguing that cohesion among communities plays a vital role in strengthening Kenya’s democratic and development agenda.
