KSG Marks 25 Years of Kenya Model United Nations with Focus on Digital Governance and Innovation
The Director General of the Kenya School of Government, Prof Nura Mohamed, joined delegates and partners at the 25th Anniversary of the Kenya Model United Nations Conference 2026, currently underway at the institution under the theme “Digital Governance, Artificial Intelligence and Innovation.”
The milestone event highlights KMUN’s sustained role in nurturing youth diplomacy and leadership in Kenya. The conference has brought together students from across the country, offering them a platform to simulate key United Nations bodies and gain practical experience in global governance, negotiation, and policy-making.
Prof. Mohamed noted that it is both inspiring and reassuring to see young leaders engaging with complex global challenges with clarity and purpose, emphasizing that such forums are instrumental in shaping a generation equipped to lead in an increasingly digital and interconnected world.
He reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to youth inclusion and public sector transformation, noting that the Kenya School of Government will continue investing in mentorship, digital skills development, and structured leadership programs to build a future-ready public service.
