Sudi Accuses Ex-Deputy President Gachagua of ‘Crossing a Red Line’ in Heated Political Exchange
Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has launched a blistering attack on former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, accusing him of involving children in political disputes and attempting to gain public sympathy following recent political setbacks.
In a strongly worded statement, Sudi claimed that Gachagua, together with politician Cleophas Malala, was attempting to “use kids for cheap political points,” a move he described as unacceptable.
“Former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, you’ve crossed a red line! Leave the kids out of your petty politics,” Sudi stated, further alleging that Gachagua was working “in cohort with his drama king, Cleophas Malalamiko.”
Sudi also dismissed claims circulated by Gachagua’s allies regarding alleged police use of teargas in a church, telling him to “give it a rest.” He suggested that Gachagua was attempting to portray himself as a victim following what he described as a political defeat in Mbeere.
“Everyone knows you got crushed in Mbeere. And now you’re looking for sympathy? Mad man!” Sudi added.
The remarks escalate ongoing political tensions among leaders previously aligned within the Kenya Kwanza coalition, as public disagreements continue to surface
