Nyandarua County Marks Major Milestone as Engineer Town Roads Improvement Project – Lot 2 Reaches Substantial Completion

Today marks a significant milestone for Nyandarua County following the successful substantial completion inspection of the Engineer Town Roads Improvement Project – Lot 2, a key infrastructure development that provides the primary access road to the Engineer County Hospital.

The project, which is now largely complete, is set to dramatically improve mobility, enhance road safety, and strengthen access to critical healthcare services for thousands of residents. Once fully commissioned, the improved road network will ease movement, reduce travel time, and support economic and social activities within the region.

This achievement reflects the ongoing commitment to delivering quality, reliable, and people-centred infrastructure across the county.

The progress has been made possible under the wise and steady leadership of the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) Director General, Eng. Silas Kinoti, whose dedication to transformative urban road development continues to uplift communities across the country. His leadership has ensured that projects are executed with professionalism, efficiency, and a focus on long-term public benefit.

Nyandarua County celebrates this milestone as a testament to what collaboration, good governance, and strong technical stewardship can accomplish.
