Care For a Child’s Heart Hosts HeartGift Donors from Texas, Reaffirms Commitment to Free Lifesaving Surgeries for Children

Care For a Child’s Heart (CFACH) on Tuesday hosted a delegation from HeartGift, a long-standing donor partner based in Texas, USA, in a visit aimed at strengthening collaboration around lifesaving heart surgeries for children in need.

During the visit, the HeartGift team met with previous CFACH beneficiaries and reviewed ongoing projects designed to expand access to specialized cardiac treatment for children from vulnerable backgrounds.

Roysambu leader Faith Mwaura, who attended the event, lauded the partnership for its continued impact on families unable to afford critical cardiac care. CFACH, in a statement, praised Mwaura’s dedication to community welfare, describing her as “widely celebrated for her community-driven leadership and compassion,” and added, “Her support remains invaluable, and we pray that God continues to bless her efforts.”

CFACH reaffirmed its mission to ensure that children born with congenital heart defects receive free, high-quality surgical interventions. The organization continues to collaborate with both local and international partners to strengthen pediatric cardiac services and increase the number of children who can access lifesaving treatment.

Members of the public and prospective partners interested in supporting the initiative can learn more through the organization’s official website: www.cfach.org.
