Two Arrested with Cannabis in Kamukunji During Police Operation
Two suspects were arrested on Friday during a targeted police operation in the Ziwani area of Kamukunji, Nairobi County, after they were found in possession of 64 rolls of cannabis.
The operation was carried out by officers from the Kamukunji Police Station as part of ongoing efforts to combat the sale and distribution of narcotics in the region. The suspects were taken into custody and are expected to be arraigned in court.
According to the National Police Service (NPS), the seized cannabis was secured as evidence. In a statement, the NPS commended the officers involved for their commitment to curbing the illegal drug trade.
"The National Police Service commends the officers for their dedication and commitment in the fight against the use of narcotics," the statement read.
