Teenage Boy Shoots and Kills Mimot I'm Lokichogio,Turkama County

‎A teenage boy was arrested after he shot and killed a two-year-old boy in an altercation in a village in Lokichogio, Turkana county.

‎

‎Both the killer and the deceased were grazing livestock in Kanadap, Nasinyono and Nanam wards, Police said.

‎

‎The teenage is aged 14.Police said the incident was reported on Sunday,12th October.Some herders in the area are as young as ten and they are armed.

‎

‎Witnesses said the two had argued before the 14-year-old one shot the ten-year-old in the chest, killing him.

‎

‎The assailant was later arrested by his uncle,who took him later to Lokichogio police station.

‎ 

‎Police said they are interrogating the  assailant for further action.

‎

‎Police were making efforts to recover the weapon used in the fatal attack.
