Drama in Kisii: Businessman Outsmarts Fake Police Arrest!

A businessman in Kisii town has narrated how he narrowly escaped what he describes as a “planned arrest” after false accusations were allegedly levelled against him by people he once called friends.

The man, identified only as Brian, runs an electronics shop in Kisii Central. He says he received a phone call one evening in September from an unknown officer asking him to report to the station.

“I asked what the issue was, but they told me to come immediately,” he said. “Something didn’t feel right. I knew I was innocent, but I also knew someone was trying to set me up.”

Brian says he later learned that a rival trader had filed a report linking him to stolen goods, which he insists was untrue. “I had receipts for every item in my shop,” he said. “But they wanted me to look guilty.”

According to him, the false report was part of a plan to tarnish his name and push him out of business. “I was shocked,” he said. “These were people I had helped before.”To read more click here
